Happy Halloween!

I'm heading out of work early to attend Ella's class party! It's been a while since I've helped out at one of these. The last one I went to was Taylor's in 4th grade - so 5 years ago and when I was there, she told everyone I was her sister.

It's supposed to be 40 degrees tonight so Trick or Treating should be pretty enjoyable. Reason 3,987,999 why I want to move south. It's nearly impossible to find good costumes for the kids. Plus, nothing says "Happy Halloween" like a red face with boogers streaming down their face.

In other Halloween news, my OLDest, wants to go out with her girl friends tonight. They are in High School. Freshmen to be exact. I hate do not enjoy high school trick or treaters. I actually debated on getting crappy candy just for them... Now my own will become one "of them" tonight. She pleaded with me "this will really be the last year Mom" because she gave me that line last year when I gave her the whole "your too old" speech. It seems that she will be the only kid in her grade that will not be going which in turn instantly takes a hit on your reputation I hear. So I'm ruining her life if she can't go. Sounds about right.

In other news...

Saturday, the whole fam dam went to the MN Gopher VS. Iowa Hawkeye Football game. I am pleased to report Floyd of Rosedale will be staying in MN for another year. Yep, we beat Iowa. First Big 10 win but who's really counting?


Jack loved going to the game and was a crowd favorite in our section. (We know most of the people, and if we didn't know them then our cousin's did. Not to worry, I do not just pass around my sweet 1 year old boy to anyone. He was high fiving and rocking out to LMFAO "Sexy and I Know It" during time outs. Pretty funny. All you have to say is  "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle" and he's breaking it down. The kid has skills.

Another highlight? Gopher Men's Hockey swept Anchorage. Yeahhhhhh buddy.

Another highlight? Wisconsin lost. Ohio State won.

Too good to be true? Yep. The Vikings won too.
