Bullies, you suck.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Being a parent is hands down the most challenging, yet rewarding job there is. Last night, we dealt with the more challenging part.

Bullies.(Insert "Gunpowder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert here).

My oldest daughter is a freshman in high school. Oh yeah, the wonder years. You couldn't pay me to go back and relive those days. So many awkward, drama filled days. I've told her many times, you'll be lucky to still have a handful of them you actually consider "friends" when your an adult. Most of these people you are in high school with, won't matter in your life. The best years of your life are yet to come. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

She is a fairly thin girl, blonde hair, blue eyes. Very beautiful girl, inside and out. She's funny. She's caring. She's my baby dammit.

I know, I'm her Mother, and what mother doesn't think their child is the bees knees? I get it.

If she were in a roomful of kids and you were to ask me to guess who was being bullied, I would never pick her. Not in a million years.

She's had issues this year, with older girls, calling her names. Calling her ugly. Jealousy right? They are just taking out their own insecurities on my baby. She knew it. She dealt with it. She moved on.

Now, people are bullying her because of her weight. Her small frame. They are calling her anorexic. Who knows what they are actually saying to her because she couldn't get out anything else out besides "they say I'm anorexic" between her sobs.

Crying. Sobbing.

They broke her down.

She is being bullied because she is thin. Something she has zero control over.

She was hysterical last night. She actually sent me a text to come up there and talk to her about it. Thankfully.

She needs me. She wants me to make it all better.

She doesn't want to go to school.

I'm so flipping mad. I want to rip these kids apart. I want to reveal every single dang flaw these kids have. I'm livid.

I know that you can't right a wrong with a wrong, but gawd I really want to. I really, really, want to.

So last night, I just was there. I sat with her in her room while she cried. I told her how these people do not deserve her tears. They do not deserve anything from her. I told her they would know what this feels like in one point in their life. I told her that there are people bullied for being fat, for being different, for no good reason at all and it all really sucks. I told her how beautiful she really is. I told her we would get through this.

I am full fledged Momma Bear right now and I am pissed.

So to you bullies out there, screw you.

You will experience karma. I am sure of it. When you do, when your shedding your tears, I hope you think of my daughter. I hope you think of the horrible way you have made her feel. I hope you feel this pain. I hope it hurts. I hope your heart breaks into a million pieces just like mine did  last night.

Jerk.

Awww :-( The poor thing! We've ALL be teased or bullied in one way or another. My parents always said that it stemmed from jealousy or insecurity. The best thing to learn though is that they are NOT worth your tears-- those bullies do not define her, not even one bit. You're such a good momma :-) Hope things turn around!!

Now this really pisses me off. Do you know who is saying this? I would find their parents and give them a piece of my mind- what little assholes. Their parents are probably bigger ass holes raising little assholes. How many time can I put asshole in one comment? Right now the limit is three.

I'm sorry she has to go through this, but you're being a good mom. It's great that she felt she could come to you! You know you'll have to talk me off the ledge when my girls get to high school!

UGHHHH! I hate kids (except my own and my friends! ;) But seriously, they are SO cruel and awful. I just hate it! We had some bullying issues with Manuel last summer and it broke.my.heart! :( Kids will find ANYTHING to make fun of another kid for. I got made fun of SO bad (mainly in middle school) for being overweight (and having the worst hair EVER! ;)) My heart breaks for kids who get bullied and teased. Your daughter is absolutely beautiful!!! They are just jealous! I hope this passes quickly! I'm so happy to read she came to you...that is awesome and a sign of GREAT parenting on your part! :)

OMG! HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?!?!?!? Seriously. Now I'm pissed! Taylor is a gorgeous, funny, amazing girl and is way too good to cry over those assholes! If you need a buddy to go knock some heads... you know where I sit. :) Love you both!

Your girl is gorgeous! I can't see why anybody would want to bully her!!!! I swear, girls at that age are brutal!!! That just makes me so mad and angry because I know that I was bullied when I was in Middle school, and it was horrible! I hope things get better for her!

Ohhh Dottie, I'm in serious tears.
Poor baby girl - if I could switch places with her, I would.

Once upon a time, I was bullied. I left one of my county {grew up until I was 15} && entered a new county && being a freshman at that - it was not fun.

I went from being a girl who loved people, loved school, loved being at school to a girl who cried before school, at school && after school - I was barked at everytime I came down the hall way, I had stuff thrown at me, I was called a bitch, slut, whore - ALL of the above all because this one guy had the hots for me && his ex-gf did not like it.

I did not know what to do. My parents did not know what to do. They tried to go to the principal, the board of education && even law enforecement because eventually, I got my DL && they would run me off the road - I had a life threatening letter in my locker telling me to watch out, at the end it had my face drawn out with a knife jabbing into my skull - still, nobody would do anything about it.

It was probably the worst 4 months + some of my life. Finally, after my first year I grew a back bone.
I made a few friends and started standing up for myself. I never did anything crazy or became a bully myself but soon people began to see I was no harm && not a bad person.

To this day, I still hold a grudge againist some of those people. I have a hard time letting go {in this case} yet, if you knew my town you'd know I run into these girls A LOT.

It's crazy because they still speak to me as if we were friend or are friends. I never let them get the best of me. I say Hi back, but that's it. They know in the back of their minds what's up -

Bullying is a serious serious matter now a days. I think it should definitely be dealt with && the girls who are doing this to her should be punished.

Does the teachers && principals know these actions are being made?
I too, would have a very hard time not saying or doing something about it with these negative, unhappy girls - whether it's right or wrong. It's very hard to see someone you love so much be hurt like this.

Not cool. Not cool.

I'm so sorry your daughter is going through this. Tell her to be strong && your bloggers have her back. ;)
Tell her that these girls WISHED they had the soul she had, the looks shes blessed with && her thin frame.

Jealously is an ugly ugly thing. && it's a horrible characteristic to have -- poor girls, may god have mercy on their souls.
